About chorus frogs:

This illustration is, specifically, of the Western Chorus Frog, also known as the Striped Chorus Frog. It is a tree frog found in Canada and the U.S. They are not arboreal, though. Their toe pads are very small. They're nocturnal. Twenty to one hundred eggs are laid per cluster, which is about an inch in size and attached to vegetation in water. Eggs take a couple of weeks to hatch and tadpoles metamorph into frogs in about eight weeks. Chorus frogs eat small insects.
