Arrowhead is an emergent aquatic plant. It is also referred to as duck potato, Indian potato, or wapato. The tubers are edible and taste like potatoes and chestnuts. It is native in the United States. According to Wikipedia, ducks do not normally eat the tubers but beavers, procupines and muskrats do.
